The use of profiling and artificial intelligence capabilities in teaching psychological sciences

As part of the large-scale reforms being implemented in our country, special attention is being paid to ensuring a peaceful and prosperous life for the population. Especially today, when various dangers and conflicts are intensifying in the world, and threats to public safety are increasing, this shows how relevant this issue is. The knowledge, skills and qualifications of public safety specialists are of great importance in combating these threats and dangers. Therefore, when developing the knowledge, skills and abilities of cadets of the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the specifics of threats and dangers of public security are taken into account. In particular, the Department of Educational and Psychological Support of Professional Activity pays special attention to the use of profiling methods in teaching psychological sciences to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as the use of artificial intelligence in the assimilation of psychological knowledge. First, the cadets were given a demonstration lesson on the use of a lie detector (polygraph), used to detect lies in official activities, and its capabilities, with special attention paid to important aspects of using a polygraph. A polygraph is a special equipment designed to obtain information about the physiological state of the human body during an examination. The use of technology in the interrogation of criminals and suspects, conducting official inspections, as well as in the selection and appointment of candidates serves to increase the effectiveness of official activities. Today, the polygraph machine is widely used all over the world and, in particular, in our country, while there are certain requirements for the use of equipment, strict compliance with which directly affects the reliability of the information received about a person. An important aspect of the master class is that, in accordance with modern educational standards for arming personnel with solid knowledge and skills combined with practical experience, it is necessary to prepare future officers (cadets) for an objective psychological analysis of data obtained using a polygraph. In the next part of the master class, professors-teachers of the department of "Educational and psychological support of professional activity" organized a visual lesson with the cadets on the topics of "Psychological profiling" and "Using the capabilities of artificial intelligence in scientific education." Done. It is known that today there are strong trends in the development of effective use of artificial intelligence technologies in various fields. In particular, special importance is attached to the issues of introducing artificial intelligence technologies into the educational process and creating favorable conditions for its use in higher education, which makes our country one of the leading countries in the world actively using artificial intelligence technologies. In this regard, the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan is rapidly working on the widespread use of artificial intelligence technologies in the educational process. In particular, the Department of Educational and Psychological Support of Professional Activity at the University is taking measures to effectively use the capabilities of artificial intelligence in teaching specialized subjects. Examples include the creation of a psychological portrait of a person using artificial intelligence, the study of cognitive characteristics, ensuring information and psychological security, improving the quality of psychological services, and analyzing psychological data. At the next stage of the master class "Psychological profiling", the need for the "profiling" method for future employees of public security agencies, especially psychological specialists, the world experience of its application and its importance in professional activities were discussed. Profiling is a method that makes it possible to pre–evaluate a person's criminal behavior based on appearance, non-verbal, verbal and paraverbal behavior, based on the "here and now" principle. In this case, based on the analysis of the most informative special features and characteristics of behavior, the possibility of evaluating and predicting human behavior is high. In the final part of the lesson, a practical lesson was organized on the use of the profiling method to identify persons suspected of committing a crime or an offense, and the cadets performed imitation actions on this topic. The master class and practical exercises are of great importance, as they serve to further enhance the theoretical and practical knowledge, skills and abilities of cadets in using the profiling method and the capabilities of artificial intelligence in teaching psychological disciplines.
