DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SCIENCES AND HUMANITIES
History of the department: the Department of” Humanities and Social Sciences” was founded in 1992 under the name of the Department of” Social-Humanitarian Sciences " of the Ministry of internal affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Tashkent higher military-technical educational institution. Since 2017, after the establishment of the Military-Technical Institute, the department was named ”Humanities and Social Sciences".
Subjects taught in the Department: “History of Uzbekistan”, “Political Science”, ”Theory and practice of building a democratic society in Uzbekistan”, “Sociology”, “Philosophy”, ” Ethics”, ”aesthetics”, ”logic”, “Fundamentals of security and geopolitics”, “World History”, “National idea: basic concepts and principles”, “Scientific research methodology”, “Religion studies”, such subjects as” Islamic law " are being taught.
Achievements: currently, the scientific potential of ” Humanities and Social Sciences " is 86.7 per cent. In the last two years, two professors and teachers of the university received the scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and the scientific title of seven associate professors. Associate Professor C.A. Rahimov, his and others number of scientific works are among the masterpieces of the world. J.Rahimov's works of Jalaliddin Manguberdi, Sahibqiran Amir Temur, Mirzo Ulugbek, Mirzo Babur and a few drops on the history of the baburids are being prepared to show in the World Book Exhibition in Germany, the Netherlands. Senior teacher candidate of historical sciences S.R. Turayeva‘s scientific articles were published in prestigious Scopus-based journals, the author of which sent proposals for establishing cooperation and publishing scientific works in the International Academy of Lamberd (USA), India International Journal Ajimir, SAG international Scopus-based journals, GIY Mir of the Russian Federation.
The published tutorials: modern textbooks on such subjects as “History of Uzbekistan”, “World History”, “Philosophy”, “Sociology”, “Religious Studies”, “National idea: strategy of development of Uzbekistan”, “Philosophy”, “Sociology”, “Political Science”, “Civil society”, “Religious Studies”, “History of Uzbekistan” were published by the professors and teachers on the subjects taught in the following subjects: "History of Uzbekistan", "Philosophy", "Political Science", "civil society", "Religious Studies", "History of Uzbekistan".
