The department was established in 2021. Previously, it operated under the name of the Department of foreign languages. 

Purpose of the Department: The National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan consists of training highly qualified officer personnel and personnel with a language proficiency of at least B1, B2, on the basis of modern requirements for all ministries and departments and relevant state and economic authorities as part of law enforcement bodies.
