ADMISSIONS TO INDEPENDENT RESEARCH

The University of Public Safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan is admitted to independent research specialties in law and military subjects.

Applicants for independent research must submit all required documents to the Faculty of Postgraduate Education of the University of Public Safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan by jxu@exat.uz or by mail each year during sessions from January 15 to February 15, April 15 to May 15, July 15 to October 15 or by mail

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

An applicant for independent research will apply to a scientific institution or educational institution with an application or a letter of recommendation with the following documents:

12.	List of scientific works (the form 3.4)
13.	(PhD 1), (DSc 3) articles within the theme of scientific paper and 2 theses copies

Candidates for the doctoral degree (PhD) up to the dissertation defense:

qualification exams on a specialty and a foreign language exam;

The total number of scientific works on the dissertation is at least
7 works, namely:

- publication of at least 3 scientific articles (including 1 article in authoritative foreign scientific journals) in publications included in the List of Higher Attestation Commission;

- on the basis of the extensive discussion of the results of the thesis at international and republican scientific and scientific-practical conferences, at least 2 materials (articles, reports or thesis) are required to be published in the collection of materials of an international conference.

Studies at postgraduate institutes of higher education lasts up to three years.

Candidates for the doctoral degree (DSc) until the thesis defense:

publication of not less than 15 scientific works on the dissertation, in particular:

- 10 of these articles have been published in scientific publications included in the List of Higher Attestation Commission, 1 in prestigious specialized scientific journals of foreign countries where the relevant field of science is developed;

 - publication of at least 2 materials (article, lecture or thesis) in the collection of international conference materials based on wide discussion of the results of the dissertation at international and republican scientific and scientific-practical conferences;

- it is required to publish a monograph on the results of the dissertation in the fields of social and humanitarian sciences.
