Department History:
In 2017, the Department of General Military Sciences was established within the Military-Technical Institute of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan. After the educational institution was given the status of a university, it was renamed the Department of General Tactics and Operational Arts.
Purpose of the Department:
In ensuring public safety, as well as in modern military (armed) conflicts, conducting tactical actions within units, comprehensive provision of combat operations, combat application of units and formations of tactical and operational-tactical units for students of the magistracy, skillful management of units and formations of tactical and operational-tactical units when performing combat tasks, performance of combat-service tasks in mountainous areas, as well as in multi-story buildings.
The cadets are taught how to carry out tactical operations within units in modern military (armed) conflicts, comprehensive support of combat operations, tactical link, and for graduate students, tactical and operational-tactical link units and to ensure that they have the knowledge and skills to perform combat-service tasks in mountainous areas, as well as in the conditions of multi-story buildings.
The department teaches the subjects of Tactical training, Military engineering training, Military topography, Defense against weapons of mass destruction, "Use of drones and geo-information systems", "Management of daily activities of units" and "Analysis of modern military (armed) conflicts".
Within the framework of the department's subjects, cadets and trainees will acquire knowledge and skills in modern military (armed) conflicts, conducting tactical operations in units, and comprehensively ensuring combat operations. The main focus in teaching subjects at the department was on the organization and conduct of special operations to neutralize non-military armed structures, the performance of combat tasks in urban conditions, including in the conditions of multi-story buildings, platoon (detachment) and smaller is focused on teaching how to control linmas during a combat mission.
A.Yu.Golubenko was awarded the Order Of Friendship by decree of the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
X.U.Usmanova was awarded the scientific title "Associate Professor" in the specialty of Analytical Chemistry by the statement of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 234/1;
B.M.Murodov was confirmed by the 67c/2 statement of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the scientific title “Associate Professor” in the specialty of military education and training, combat training, selection and placement of Personnel, Management of daily activities of parts;
Senior teacher of the department R.N.Ashurov was awarded the badge of Merit by order of the commander of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Professor of the department doctor of Science in Chemical Sciences (DSc) X.U.Usmanova was given the title " Citizen Protection. Scientific title of professor in the specialty” means and methods of prevention of emergencies and their elimination " was awarded.
Department teacher A.A.Ernazarov successfully defended his dissertation work for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pedagogical Sciences in June 2024.
