History of the Department: 

The Department of physical fitness and Sports has been in operation since the foundation of the former Union during the period of Higher courses under the IIV.

Over the past period, the following have served as head of the Department:

Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences for the post of head of the first Department Lieutenant Colonel R.R.Sharipov was appointed. It operated until 1991.

Captain Prokopenko Sergey Nikolayevich candidate for Master of sports in football 1991-1992;

1992-1993 Colonel Murakayev Ilgizar Shavkatovich;

1993-2004 master of sports in athletics Colonel Sagatov Toliboy Kayumovich;

2004-2006 master of sports in volleyball Lieutenant Colonel Nemov Yuri Vasilyevich;

2006-2008 candidate for Master of sports in sambo Lieutenant Colonel Nurullayev Khairuddin Khairullaevich;

Master of sports in judo and hand-to-hand combat 2008-2010, Lieutenant Colonel Rozmatov Botir Turgunboevich;

From 2020 to the present, the 1st razryad in volleyball, associate professor Colonel Karimov Khasan Raimovich, is serving as the head of the Department.

Many works have been carried out by the department in the improvement of the educational process in the past period, in the development of mass physical education and sports at the University, in raising the flag of our country to high heights at jaxon sports competitions, in the training of highly qualified specialists for all systems of the Armed Forces of our Republic.

Training specialists trained for the National Guard, Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Uzbekistan as a person who is comprehensively developed and loyal, dedicated to his homeland, feels his responsibility to the people, society and family, respects national and universal values, enriches and strengthens the traditions of the people, works conscientiously and honestly for the future of our homeland,; skillfully using the methods of attack and self-defense of hand combat in ensuring public safety, he has the knowledge and skills that will be needed in order to master the physical load, nervous-mental exertion and other negative situations that are often encountered in service activities, as well as to make the right decisions in non-standard situations.

• Implementation of the educational process in the subjects “special physical training” and “physical education and sports” in accordance with the approved educational plan and science curricula in the form of full-time education;
• creation of the necessary conditions for meeting the needs of the individual in intellectual, cultural and spiritual development in the process of education, scientific activity;
• organization and conduct of training, retraining and advanced training in basic and further education programs.

On November 3, 2021, at the "National Guard Cup" in the "Functional All-around" sport, the functional all-around team of the University took 2nd place overall, and the following athletes-cadets were awarded with diplomas and medals:

- the daughter of Raimova Diyora Chori, cadet of training group 134;

- Cadet of the 241st training group, son of Kadirov Azamjon Azamatjon;

- Cadet of the 402nd training group Mukumov Rustam Rakhmatovich;

- Cadet of the 422nd training group Kholmatov Jorabek son of Kurbanali.

On November 11-13, 2021, the University team won 2 gold, 2 silver, and 5 bronze medals at the "Tashkent Region Cup" Open Championship among young people in hand-to-hand combat, held in Chirchik.

On November 20-25, 2021, at the Academy of the State Security Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan, according to the joint decision No. 23/29/43 QQ 17/19/37 "On determining the procedure for conducting sports competitions among cadets of higher military educational institutions in 2021-2022", the national team of the Public Security University was honored in the mini-football sports competition Took 2nd place.

On November 30-December 3, 2021, at the Armed Forces sports base, the University team took a proud 2nd place in the relay of the Cup of the head of the military-administrative sector of the Tashkent city governor, which was held under the slogan "Tashkent loves youth" among the employees and military personnel of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Security Service, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and the State Customs Committee:

On December 10-11, 2021, Lieutenant Orolov Miraziz won the 1st place at the JEET KUNE DO Open Championship in Toshket.

On December 12-13, 2021, in Almazor district general education school No. 326, the Almazor district championship competition was held among young people in the "Uzbek martial arts" category, dedicated to the month of "Patriotism" and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle among the population. More than 60 young athletes in different weight categories took part in the competition. The winners and prize-winners of the competition were awarded diplomas and medals.

On January 9, 2022, in the center of the city of Tashkent, the national team made up of military-athletes of the University took the proud second place and was awarded a medal and an immovable trophy in the 10 km running marathon held under the slogan "I am the winner" dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the "Day of Defenders of the Fatherland".

On February 6-9, 2022, a member of the University's hand-to-hand combat team successfully participated in the "Uzbekistan Cup" competition for hand-to-hand combat among youth and teenagers at the "Universal Sports Palace", and cadet Askarov Tulanboy of the 3rd cadet battalion, 392a training group, took the second place and was awarded with a diploma, a medal and a valuable gift.

According to the calendar plan of mass-sports and methodical events of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on March 9-10, 2022, the team of the University of Public Security, together with 18 teams, took an active part in the championship competition of the National Guard in athletics, and took the proud 2nd place and was awarded with a diploma and a trophy.

On March 11-15, 2022, the son of lieutenant Orolov Miraziz Mirsodiq, a teacher of the Department of Physical Training and Sports of the University, successfully participated in the "Uzbekistan Championship" among adults in the Universal combat type of sports in the "Pakhlavon Sports" complex in the city of Namangan region, Namangan region, took the proud 3rd place, and was awarded a diploma and a medal.

On March 27, 2022, 200 athletes from more than 20 teams were awarded 2 gold and 1 silver medals in the 30, 32, 52 weight categories at the Tashkent open boxing championship in the Sergeli district of Tashkent.

On April 8, 2022, the "Shunqorlar" military sports competition was held among young teachers in the 185th general education school of Tashkent city. The teachers of general education schools of Chilanzor, Shaikhontohur and Almazor district took part in the competition. 185 schools of Almazor district took 1st place, 128 schools of Chilanzor district took 2nd place, 326 schools of Almazor district took 3rd place and were awarded diplomas and medals.

On April 23-24, 2022 in the city of Tashkent, Kenjebayeva Elmira, a cadet of the 134th group of the Public Security University, took an active part in the championship of Uzbekistan among all age categories of the sport "Shotokan karate-do" and recorded the following results:

- proud 1st place in kumite competitions of 61-kilogram weight category for 18+ years;

- took a proud 2nd place in the kumite competition of the 18+ age group A, B, S weight category and was awarded with medals and diplomas.

On April 23, 2022, Lieutenant Tursunbayev Abror, commander of the 111th training group, took 3rd place in the "TRIATLON" championship of Uzbekistan.

On May 30, 2022, on June 3, 2022, in accordance with the joint decision No. 23/29/43 QQ 17/19/37 "On determining the procedure for conducting sports competitions among cadets of higher military educational institutions in 2021-2022" at the Public Security University of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the national team of the Public Security University took part in the "Volleyball" sports competition. won 1st place and was awarded with a diploma and a cup

On April 30, 2022, at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the national team of the Public Security University took part in the Multi-Athletics competition in accordance with the joint decision No. - won the first place and was awarded with a diploma and a cup.

In this competition, 6 teams competed in 100-meter running, 100-meter swimming, 3000-meter running and 25-meter Makarov pistol shooting.

According to the end of the competition, he is in the personal first place.

On May 15, 2022, in the center of the city of Tashkent, the national team made up of military-athletes of the University took the proud 3rd place and was awarded with an immovable trophy in the second stage of the 10 km running marathon held in the center of the city of Tashkent between the armed forces and the citizens of the educational institutions of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan dedicated to the "Day of Remembrance and Appreciation" on May 9.
