In accordance with the decree of the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 9, 2021 PQ-5215 "on measures to introduce a fundamentally updated system of raising orphans and children deprived of parental care" in order to introduce a fundamentally updated system of raising orphans and children deprived of parental care, to create the necessary conditions for their formation as a, the Department of spiritual and educational education and social work with young people was established.

Purpose of the Department:

The department is engaged in educational, methodological, scientific, spiritual and educational activities, as well as providing comprehensive support to parents, members of family orphanages who have received or intend to receive children deprived of parental care; strengthening the spiritual and moral environment in families and improving the professional knowledge, abilities and skills of parents caught in health; strengthening the legal, psychological, pedagogical and spiritual

• Familiarization of detained parents with the basics of Public Policy and legislation in the field of protection of the rights and legitimate interests of children;

• Development of cognitive and practical skills of parents in the field of child psychology and pedagogy;

• Familiarization with the rights and obligations of the detained parents;

• Formation of parental potential associated with the upbringing of children, Care, Health Protection of parents, the creation of favorable conditions for its social adaptation, education and comprehensive development;

• To determine the degree of readiness of the parents caught to accept the child into the family, to help choose the form of accepting the child into the family, as well as to facilitate the awareness of the problems and difficulties that may be encountered in the process of dealing with the upbringing and development of the child;

• Development of training plans and programs for preparatory courses and approval of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Education of the people;

• Regular updating of training plans and programs;

• Organization of classes using modern forms and methods of teaching, advanced pedagogical and information technologies.

Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Rejametova Irada Ikramshikovna was awarded the medal "Excellence of Spirituality" on the occasion of the "Day of Teachers and Trainers" on October 1, in accordance with the order of the Commander of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 205 dated September 21, 2022.

Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Rejametova Irada Ikramshikovna was awarded the badge "For services in educating the young generation in the spirit of patriotism" based on the decision of September 30, 2022.

The deputy head of the department, Orinov Davron Khayitbayevich, was awarded the commemorative medal "30 years to the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan", established according to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 1, 2021.

In 2020, a cooperation agreement was signed between the department and the departments of social sciences, pedagogy and psychology of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute in the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of educational, methodological and scientific activity development.

In 2020, a cooperation agreement was signed between the department and the Departments of Pedagogy and General Psychology of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek in the field of development of educational, methodological and scientific activities.
