With the support of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Tashkent Chemical-Technological Institute, the “Uzkimyosanoat” Joint-Stock Company, the Committee on Family and Women Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Research Institute of Family and Gender, the Uzbekistan Women Inventors Center, Integral University (India), and Neofit Rilski South-West University (Bulgaria), the III International Forum “WOMEN IN STEM” was held. Today, expanding women’s participation in science and technology is seen worldwide as a global challenge. In 2015, the UN declared February 11 as the “International Day of Women and Girls in Science,” and as part of the celebration of this date, the “Women in STEM” forum is regularly held. It is worth noting that the main goal of the international scientific forum “Women in STEM” taking place in Uzbekistan is to highlight the important role of women working in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in Uzbekistan and Central Asia, to further improve the “Teacher-Student” system, and to provide them with support. It also aims to ensure diversity and transparency in these fields, as well as to identify and remove the barriers faced by women in STEM fields. The forum included panel discussions, seminars, workshops, and scientific presentations conducted by female scientists from the region. The goal of the forum is to inspire and support the next generation of female scientists and engineers in Uzbekistan and Central Asia. This forum brings together leading scientists, researchers, and experts from Uzbekistan and foreign countries to promote the participation of women in STEM fields. The event included scientific reports, master classes by international experts, practical seminars, and motivational speeches. The forum also saw the participation of Lieutenant Colonel Shahnoza Akramova Abrorovna, Deputy Head of the Department of Military-Patriotic, Spiritual-Enlightenment Education and Social Work with Youth at the University of Public Safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, and Professor. She presented her report on the topic of “The Contribution of Female Military Personnel to the Development of the Armed Forces System.” At the conclusion of the forum, honorary guests were presented with statuettes, memorable gifts, and certificates from “Uzkimyosanoat” JSC and the Tashkent Chemical-Technological Institute.
