From December 5th to 9th, 2024, the XIV International Conference “Preservation, Support, and Maintenance of the Russian Language Abroad” is taking place in Minsk, Republic of Belarus. Indira Rustamovna Narkulova, senior lecturer at the Department of Languages, is participating in the conference. The conference brings together Russian language teachers from 17 countries. Eight educators from Uzbekistan are among the participants. The main goals of the conference are to strengthen the teaching of the Russian language, develop cultural, humanitarian, and educational cooperation, and preserve the traditions of Russian culture abroad. The conference unites teachers, specialists, and Russian language experts from various countries to discuss contemporary challenges and exchange experience in the field of promoting the Russian language and culture. At the conference, Indira Rustamovna Narkulova, senior lecturer at the Department of Languages, spoke on the topic: “Teaching Russian in Uzbekistan Universities: Modern Approaches and Practices.”
