The Authority of Government Bodies and Officials in the Field of Migration Policy in Uzbekistan

On November 15, 2024, a master class was held on the topic “The Authority of Government Bodies and Officials in the Field of Migration Policy in Uzbekistan” for 2nd course cadets (393 group) of the direction of “Migration and citizenship” at the University of Public Safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The master class was conducted by the head of the department of “International Law and Protection of Human Rights” of the Academy of Law Enforcement of the Republic of Uzbekistan, author of the textbook “Migration Law”, associate professor Isokov Lukmonjon Kholboevich. The training was attended by professors, teachers, and master's students of the department of “Public Safety” of the University of Public Safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan. L.H. Isokov mentioned that currently, migration processes are becoming a very important and pressing issue. Including the covering countries all over the world,  Republic of Uzbekistan is also one of the active subjects of ongoing migration processes. Moreover, he stated that as a result of the right implementation of migration processes politics in our Republic, many compatriots effectively continue their work activities in foreign countries, and government bodies regularly and effectively work to ensure the legality, safety and convenience of the work activities of our citizens in foreign countries. The speaker talked about many cases related to the activities of government bodies pursuing state policy in the field of migration, and answered questions that were asked by the cadets. The training was full of interesting examples connected with migration. Following the master class, the author received a letter of gratitude from the head of the university. L.H. Isokov also presented the department with a manual named “Gender Aspects of Migration: International and National Experience.”
