Nowadays, the introduction of peculiar national mechanisms for regulating migration processes and the implementation of comprehensive reforms is of great importance in our country. In order to develop proposals that have a legal basis and are of significant practical importance in eliminating direct violations of constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens during migration, eliminating the factors that cause them, preventing censorship in the realization of the interests of persons when they move from a certain geographical area to another specific area, on January 31, 2023, the University of Public Safety held republican scientific and practical conference on the topic "Actual problems of migration and registration of citizenship and ways to solve them". The conference discussed such issues as: consideration of existing problems in the adoption of the Migration Law and the development of proposals to eliminate them; analysis of ongoing reforms in the field of migration and citizenship registration and their results; analysis of the activities of migration and citizenship registration bodies; analysis of the activities of authorized bodies and a detailed discussion of existing problems; application of information and communication technologies in the state migration management, development of proposals on legal regulation, digitalization of the sphere; prevention of administrative offenses in the field of migration and registration of citizenship, identification of causes and their elimination. Based on the results, proposals and recommendations of the conference were given and approved, which can be actively used in the interests of the development of legal reforms.

The Conference was another important step in the development and strengthening of cooperation based on a sincere and friendly spirit, as well as on constructive dialogue and mutual cooperation.
