Natural disasters and climatic changes occurring all over the world are showing their reflection in Human life and health. The human being is the main cause of all this. Ecological problem is the most complex problem, because there are problems that are too late to solve. An example of these, we can cite the depletion of the Ozone layer, the depletion of fresh water, the change in air temperature, and the drying of the Aral Sea. Ensuring environmental safety, protecting and respecting the environment is today’s most urgent and important global issue. Therefore, the issue of environmental security is important in the direction of national security. Today in our country attention is paid to environmental protection, rational use of natural resources and their preservation at the level of state policy. The fundamental basis of regulation of relations with the environment has been strengthened in our Constitution, about 30 important laws and more than 200 legal documents have been implemented in this regard, and a number of international documents have been ratified. Among these, in order to ensure the implementation of the tasks set in the PD 5863 dated October 30, 2019 “On the approval of the concept of environmental protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030”, Resolution 95 of the Cabinet Of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 18, 2019 “On approval of the general technical regulation on environmental safety”, Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On additional measures to improve the state management system in the field of ecology and environmental protection”, dated October 3, 2018 PD 3956, Resolution 958 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to further develop the scientific research base in the field of ecology and environmental protection”, dated November 26, 2018. The University of Public Safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with departments “Natural Sciences” and “Ensuring Public Safety” held Republican Scientific-practical Conference on the topic “Fundamentals of Ensuring Environmental Safety” on February 28, 2023. It is planned to publish a collection of conference materials.

At the same time, an event was held to sign the Memorandum of Cooperation between the University of Public Safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Environmental Movement of Uzbekistan. Based on the Memorandum: To follow the laws of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan on “Social partnership”, “About environmental Control”, “Environmental safety”, “About education”. To help to achieve that the protection of the environment and the preservation of natural resources are the duty of the state, society and every citizen of the country:
-improving the system of continuous environmental education and training, raising the level of environmental culture of the population, forming healthy lifestyle skills in them;
-to support the implementation of the state policy on youth in the spirit of caring for nature and its resources;
-implementation of measures aimed at ensuring the implementation of wide-ranging reforms and the priority tasks arising from them, conducting events of scientific-practical theoretical importance, participating in increasing the efficiency of work on the implementation of tasks such as ecology and environmental protection in Uzbekistan.
