Navruz is a bright symbol of the awakening the nature, that is the holiday marks the joyous awakening of every living thing after winter. This spring holiday brings joy to our hearts and invites people to friendship, kindness and solidarity. Due to this, on the eve of the national holiday, at the University of Public Safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Navruz holiday was celebrated in the form of national festival with high spirit and high level and the festival was named as "May every day be Navruz, our Uzbekistan!" Navruz is a new life, new anticipations, and the people’s smile. This year's Navruz holiday was celebrated in a high spirit and a proper festive look than ever before. On the eve of the holiday, the university building was decorated with flowers and balloons. According to the traditions, a holiday pilaf and, of course, sumalak were organized for the invited guests of honor, military servicemen and employees of the university, Mercy House No. 22 and the school No. 102, and Nursing homes as well. National sports games such as archery, national hand-to-hand combat, tug-of-war, shuttlecock, white poplar and blue poplar were organized on the holiday. Also, at the event, the cadets took part in the first competitions in the preparation of our national dish, Pilaf, and our beautiful cadet girls in the preparation of spring dishes and salads. Moreover, on the occasion of the holiday, the university organized a discounted food fair for military servicemen and employees. During the event, the performance of national songs and dances by cadets and students gave everyone an upbeat mood. As well as, the holiday “Navruz” is extremely important not only for people, families and society, but also because it glorifies the ideas of friendship, good neighborliness, peace and harmony between people, and further strengthens the atmosphere of mutual respect and solidarity.
