On December 20, 2024, the Department of “Economic Disciplines” of the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan held an International Scientific and Practical Conference on the topic: “Issues of ensuring economic security in the context of integration into the world economy: international experience, theory and practice”.

The aim of the conference is to develop scientific proposals and practical recommendations aimed at improving the theoretical and methodological foundations, mechanisms and principles of ensuring economic security in the context of integration into the global economy.

Scientists from Higher (military) educational institutions of the Russian Federation, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Kazakhstan delivered lectures at the plenary session of the scientific and practical conference, which was held online.

In particular, scientific articles and abstracts of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, the Military Academy of the Republic of Belarus, the Krasnodar University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russian Federation, Ufa Law University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russian Federation, the National Research University Higher School of Economics of Russian Federation, Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Tashkent branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Dagestan State University of National Economy of Russian Federation, Dagestan State Technical University of Russian Federation, Perm State National Research University, the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Military Academy of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Al-Farabi National University of the Republic of Kazakhstan and M. Ryskulbekov State University of Economics of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan were accepted.

The conference considered and discussed theoretical and methodological problems of ensuring economic security in the context of integration into the global economy, Current problems and trends in the economic security of the state, the Green Economy and areas of food security, Issues of combating criminal proceeds and the shadow economy. A collection of articles on the conference topic has been published.

The conference was held with active debates. The issues of cadets, students, undergraduates, as well as the teaching staff were discussed, scientific and practical proposals of outstanding specialists on issues related to the topic were developed.

In the final part of the conference, the participants were awarded diplomas from the University authorities and certificates of participation.
