Family and gender issues, which are one of the most important criteria for consistent progress and development in our country are considered as priority tasks of state policy. As a research institution, the Institute "Family and Gender" (hereinafter referred to as the Research Institute) also has established the activities of specialized scientific councils in the fields of pedagogical, psychological, sociological and philosophical sciences. On January 29, an event dedicated to the signing of a memorandum of cooperation with the Research Institute "Family and Gender" was held at the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It was attended by the university's leadership, faculty, cadets and students, graduate students, as well as spouses of university servicemen. Five years ago, a Memorandum was signed between this research institute and the Military Technical Institute, on the basis of the University of Public Safety was created, within the framework of which the institute delivered more than 400 titles of literature on family, gender and cyberbullying, carried out two short-term scientific and practical projects on the topic of family, and created a “Family corner” in the information and resource center of the University. The defense of a number of research papers was jointly organized. Today's event raised the interaction between the research institute and the University to a new level. At the event, the features of the problems arising in the families of military personnel, prospects for cooperation in the scientific and practical study of work to prevent conflict situations and divorces, the development and implementation of scientifically based proposals and recommendations into practice were identified. At the event dedicated to the signing of the memorandum, the Family and Gender Institute presented another 210 units of literature on 18 titles free of charge for University military personnel and their families. The memorandum of cooperation between the University of Public Safety and the “Family and Gender” Research Institute serves to further enhance the effectiveness of measures not only to implement research projects, but also to strengthen the institution of the family, in particular, to work with the families of military personnel and prepare young military personnel to start a family.
