In the life of our people, preventing and eliminating emergencies is one of the key factors of public safety. To this end, based on the Government Commission’s decree dated October 28, 2024, the "Fire Safety Month" will be held in our country from November 15 to December 15, 2024. The University of Public Safety also actively participated in this important event, developing a plan of actions to prevent and eliminate emergencies. According to the plan, the university's military personnel, cadets, soldiers, and listeners were provided with theoretical and practical knowledge on fire safety rules, how to prevent gas poisoning, and how to act correctly in case of such unpleasant situations. To ensure the quality of the training, experts from the Emergency Situations Department of Tashkent region, the Zangiota district Emergency Situations Department, the Zangiota district gas department, and the Scientific Research Institute of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were actively involved. First, the specialists held theoretical training on how to act correctly in emergency situations. During the session, the university staff had the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers. After that, all participants were invited to the university's large parade ground. There, the event's guests were ready to demonstrate all the available equipment and technical means in practice. Immediately, practical exercises began. Experts also answered the staff’s questions through demonstration processes. Conclusion: The event held at the University of Public Safety on the occasion of "Fire Safety Month" was an important factor in developing the necessary knowledge and skills among the staff.
