On April 6, the Republican scientific and practical conference "Amir Timur The Great Commander and statesman" was held in cooperation with the Department of "social and humanitarian Sciences" of the University of Public Safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Department of "Criminal Legal Sciences" and the State Museum of the history of the Timurids. The conference was attended by well-known Timur scholars of our country, as well as a number of leading researchers who are studying the personality and activity of Amir Timur, his spiritual heritage. At this scientific conference, professors and historian scientists listened to lectures on "the role of Amir Timur in world history", "Amir Timur is the patron of Science and culture", "the legal views of Amir Timur". During the lectures, the important role of the figure of Amir Timur in the construction of Uzbek statehood, further improvement of the state and law foundation, spiritual maturity in society, an important place in the development of science and the upbringing of the spiritual heritage of Amir Timur in the spirit of military patriotism of military personnel was revealed. In particular, the speech of the people's artist of Uzbekistan Tesha Mominov, invited to the conference, was remembered by the conference participants. During the conference, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the University of Public Safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the State Museum of the history of the Timurids. This memorandum provides an opportunity to further improve the research carried out at the university, to benefit from the materials of the National Archive of the State Museum of the history of the Timurids, unique scientific literature, to apply it in military education. Also, the conference was attended by students of the military academic Lyceum "School of Temurbek" under the National Guard, dedicated to the life and work of Amir Timur. At the end of the conference, the leadership of the University presented the participants with thanks and souvenirs.
