The University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a republican scientific and practical conference on the theme "Amir Timur - the great commander and statesman", dedicated to the 687th anniversary of the birth of the great commander, major reformer, founder of a centralized state, patron of religion and education Sakhibkiron Amir Timur. This conference was organized in cooperation with a number of educational and scientific organizations of the Republic, with the participation of faculty, students of higher educational institutions, officers and cadets of higher military educational institutions of the Republic. It should be noted that this scientific and practical conference was attended by specialists from the State Museum of the Timurid History of the Academy of Sciences, specialists from the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences, teachers from the National University of Uzbekistan, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, the Military Institute of Information and Communication Technologies and Communications of the Ministry of Defense. The great Sahibkiron Amir Timur’s thoughtful words such as: “Let justice be our companion and program in every work! ”, quoted by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, should become the life conviction of each of us. Based on reports on topics about the Amir Timur is personality his high moral qualities, potential in the military sphere, martial arts, new approaches to the study of the military heritage of the great commander, a number of proposals were developed.

1.Introduction of the subject “Military heritage of the great commanders” in order to bring to the cadets the military tactics and martial art of Amir Timur.
2.In-depth study in higher military educational institutions of the military strategy of Amir Timur and the great commanders.
- Amir Timur’s conducting scientific research in the field of military heritage and military patriotism.
- Amir Timur’s Creation of thematic brochures about the military activities of the commanders.
The results of this scientific and practical conference in the future will be used in the further scientific activities of higher educational institutions of our country to create and improve new scientific research, improve educational and methodological activities.
