Today, the rapid trends in the development of artificial intelligence technologies, deeply penetrating into all aspects of our daily life and activities, cause fundamental changes that cannot be predicted in advance. In particular, it is becoming increasingly obvious that many professions will disappear due to artificial intelligence technologies. Such trends require further improvement of the system of training competitive specialists who meet the requirements of the time. The successful implementation of the tasks by the Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies, as well as the ability to adequately respond to modern threats and dangers, directly depends on military personnel, who are an important part of the state and society. On February 7, 2025, a training seminar was held at the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the topic "Modern approaches to ensuring harmony between theory and practice" with the participation of cadets-listeners of the bachelor's degree "Educational and psychological support of service activities" and the master's degree "Command and staff activities of educational and psychological support" and HR customers. This event was organized to discuss the knowledge, skills and qualifications required by psychologists in the Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies, where graduates serve today. The training seminar was attended by specialists from the personnel departments of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Defense, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations. It should be noted that the University of Public Security trains specialists for all systems of the Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies. In particular, last year's graduates of the bachelor's degree in "Educational and psychological support for service activities" were assigned to such agencies as the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the State Security Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan, etc. The participants in the training seminar provided extensive and detailed information on the professional qualities required of psychologists today, based on the specifics of the service activities of the relevant structures. Answers were given to the cadets' questions of interest.
