An event was held dedicated to the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion "Ijtimoiy Fikr". It was attended by the University's management, the faculty of the Department of "Educational and Psychological Support of Service Activities" and cadets of the Bachelor's Faculty. The Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion "Ijtimoiy Fikr" is a non-governmental and non-profit organization with the status of a research institution. The main goal of the Center is to identify, study and analyze the main trends in the dynamics of public opinion in all areas of the country's development, as well as to conduct systematic monitoring. It should be noted separately that over the past 26 years, the Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion "Ijtimoiy Fikr" has conducted more than 650 comprehensive studies based on various sociological methods. As is known, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-5077 dated April 15, 2021, the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan is defined not only as a higher military educational institution, but also as a research institution, which conducts extensive scientific and practical research in the field of public security. At the event, Deputy Director for Research and Innovation of the Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion "Ijtimoiy Fikr", PhD, Associate Professor V.S. Alekseeva answered questions of interest to the participants. The signing of a memorandum of cooperation with the Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion "Ijtimoiy Fikr" means the beginning of a new era in the activities of both parties.
