On December 7 of this year, a delegation led by Lieutenant General Yusuf Kenan Topcu, Commander of the Istanbul Gendarmerie of the Republic of Turkey, visited the Public Security University of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The main purpose of the visit is to get acquainted with the activities and infrastructure of the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan, to discuss issues of exchange of experience in the field of personnel training and retraining in the future. During the meeting with the representatives of the delegation, the Head of the University expressed his gratitude to the members of the delegation for the visit made in order to develop bilateral cooperation relations. At the same time, it was discussed about the bilateral cooperation activities being carried out in connection with the memorandum and protocol signed with the Gendarmerie of the Republic of Turkey and the Coast Guard Academy, and the new military and civilian mixed study experience in the history, activities, and education of the University. Also, the head of the delegation of the Republic of Turkey, Lieutenant General Yusuf Kenan Topcu, expressed his satisfaction with the organized event and expressed special interest in the educational processes organized at the University. Representatives of the delegation received detailed answers to their questions regarding the organization of hybrid educational processes, including military and civilian courses, the organization of post-higher education activities, and specialty areas. During the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness for mutually beneficial agreements on the development of bilateral cooperation relations.
