The teachers of the University of Public Safety organized a training camp titled “Loyal Youth of the Motherland.”

This initiative was part of the tasks set forth by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Sh.M. Mirziyoyev, during the expanded meeting of the Safety Council held on January 12, 2024. To ensure the implementation of these tasks, training camps for youth titled “Loyal Youth of the Motherland” have been organized in Andijan and Namangan regions since February 26 of this year.

From May 27 to May 31, teachers from the University of Public Safety involved a total of 123 young participants in the training camp held in Andijan region. The aim was to instill patriotism, civic responsibility, and respect for the law among the youth while also focusing on their interests, abilities, and challenges, guiding them towards vocational training and foreign language learning, ensuring their employment, and assisting socially vulnerable youth.

The training camps were directly organized within the territory of the National Guard and allowed the youth to experience real military life over a three-day period, from military attire to drill exercises. The daily program included interactive sessions, psychological training, seminars, physical and practical exercises, and activities aimed at fostering military patriotism.

During the camp, activities were carried out to instill high respect and pride for the State Anthem, Flag, and Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The program also aimed to educate the youth about prominent state leaders and military figures, as well as the notable representatives of the Jadid movement, emphasizing their identity as proud citizens of their homeland. Psychological training sessions and social-psychological surveys were conducted to understand and guide the youth's psychology correctly. Additionally, the youth were provided with information about firearms and combat equipment, and competitions in military-applied sports and national games were held to foster interest in military careers and sports.
