Republic Olympiad in " Modern history of Uzbekistan" was Held

A Republic Olympiad in the subject "Recent History of Uzbekistan" was held among cadets of higher military educational institutions. On May 23, 2024, the Department of Social Sciences of the University of Public Safety organized this Olympiad for cadets from about ten military and paramilitary educational institutions, in accordance with the tasks outlined at the expanded meeting of the Safety Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on January 12, 2024, and the university's "Research Activities" plan. Within the framework of this Olympiad, cadets from the Ministry of Defense, State Safety Service, State Customs Committee, Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the National Guard competed based on three criteria related to the subject "Recent History of Uzbekistan." In the first round, all participants tested their knowledge through 40 test questions on topics concerning our recent history. Participants were evaluated on a 20-point scale.

The second round focused on the analysis of architectural monuments built during the years of independence, while the third round involved discussions about historical figures who played significant roles in achieving independence and determining the path of independent development.

The final rankings based on all the competition conditions were as follows:

- 3rd place: Asadbek Mavlonderdiyev, cadet of the Customs Institute

- 2nd place: Kamronbek Ismoilov, cadet of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Academy

- 1st place: Alijon Davronov, cadet of the University of Public Safety

All participants and prize winners of the Olympiad were awarded various diplomas and memorable gifts by the university administration, the organizers of the event.
