Constitutional and legal foundations of property rights

On December 23, 2023, in connection with the 31st anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a republican scientific and practical conference on the topic “Constitutional and legal foundations of property rights” was held at the Department of Civil Law Sciences of the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which was held in online/offline mode. At the republican scientific and practical conference, the constitutional and legal foundations of ownership of natural resources in Uzbekistan, judicial practice on the application of legal norms in protecting property rights, constitutional and civil legal foundations of inalienability of property, constitutional principles of property rights in relation to housing were discussed - a number of lectures and presentations aimed at scientific and practical analysis of priority tasks, such as the legal framework, issues of introducing land ownership rights. The Republican scientific and practical conference was attended by specialists from internal affairs bodies, lawyers, professors and teachers of higher educational institutions, doctoral students, independent researchers, senior researchers, graduate students, gifted students and cadets. In particular, Professor of the Department of Tashkent State Law University, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Uzbekistan Okyulov Omanbay gave a lecture on the topic “Constitutional and legal foundations of property issues in relation to natural resources”, judge of the Tashkent City Court, Doctor of Philosophy in Legal Sciences Berdiyarov Rakhmatjon Todzhinorovich made a report on the topic “Judicial practice on the application of legal norms in the protection of property rights” and put forward a number of proposals aimed at solving problems in the field. Also Professor of the Department of “Civil-Law Sciences” of the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Professor Ruziev Rustam Dzhabborovich “Constitutional and Civil Law Fundamentals of Property”, Head of the Department of “Civil-Law Sciences”, Professor, Doctor of Law, Choriev Murad Shokirzhonovich on theam “Constitutional and legal foundations of the right of ownership of housing” and Erpulat Nazhimovich Tleubaev, master of the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan, gave interesting and informative lectures on the topic “Issues of introducing the right of ownership of land.” The majority of conference participants took part in the discussion with their opinions, and during the question-and-answer conversation, during intense discussions, proposals for improving civil legislation regarding the legal solution of many problems related to the topic were developed, agreed upon and submitted to the relevant authorities.
