In accordance with the relevant directive from the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the project "Sharing Enlightenment" is being implemented to engage university students in reading, enhance their literary literacy, and instill a sense of patriotism and responsibility for the future of our country.
As part of this initiative, notable writers Nazar Eshonqulov, Norqobil Jalilov, and Abdumajid Azimov visited the University of Public Safety. The guests were welcomed with a musical performance by the university’s military orchestra. The event continued with participation from students of the military musical academic lyceum under the National Guard, showcasing demonstrations of weapon handling and hand-to-hand combat by the university’s cadets.
The writers took the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the conditions and modern educational system established at the university by our President. They also visited the "Enlightenment Garden," created under the nationwide "Green Zone" project, where they learned about its unique features and opportunities, and participated in planting saplings.
As part of the project, a creative meeting was held with students from the Temurids School, university cadets, and students. In a warm and open discussion, the writers answered questions posed by the students and cadets regarding their works and the distinctive principles of modern Uzbek literature.
At the end of the event, the guest authors were presented with commemorative gifts from the University of Public Safety. The activities aimed at enhancing the spirituality of youth, promoting reading among them, and shaping a culture of reading left a positive impression on the guests.
