On December 28, 2023, the final reporting meeting of the department “Educational and psychological support of official activity” was held at the University of Public Safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan for educational, methodological, research and spiritual and educational work based on the results of 2023.

The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Head of the University, Doctor of Law, Professor O.K.Turgunov, Deputy Head of the University for Research and Innovation, Doctor of Law, Professor Sh.Kh.Zulfikorov, head of the Department of Educational and Methodological Management, head of the Organization of research activities, head of Educational and ideological work and the teaching staff of the department.

At the final reporting meeting, the faculty of the department presented analytical information on the following areas:

 – Educational work – Associate professor Z. S. Alimardonov;

– Educational and methodical work -Associate professor D.M.Mamatkulov;

– Research work -Professor N.I.Khalilova;

– Spiritual and educational work -K.A.Azizov;

– Monitoring of independent researchers – Associate Professor M.I.Saipova;

– On the activities of the circles – S.X.Isakov;

– The work on providing educational literature is done by Associate professor D.S. Abdullajonova.

Target project “Prevention of crime among young people, creation of short, touching social videos that give them educational and psychological motivation” successfully passed the final examination;

 On the basis of the University, an intellectual competition “Expert in Psychology” was organized among prestigious higher and higher military educational institutions of the republic (9 teams from 8 universities). In this competition, the honorable first place was taken by the team “Military psychologists”, consisting of 3rd year cadets of the direction “Educational and psychological support of official activity”.

At the final reporting meeting, special attention was paid to measures that will be implemented in 2024 in the following areas, while the following issues were identified as priorities:

– further improvement of the quality of training sessions, creation of new teaching methods and active support for the educational process, further increase in the number of master classes with the participation of leading scientists and industry specialists;

– organization of lectures and practical classes in the disciplines in the situation center using a simulation program and tools;

– updating of educational literature on subjects taught at the department, creation of textbooks of a new generation, in particular electronic literature and programs;

– further improvement of the scientific potential of the teaching staff. Obtaining academic degrees of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Doctor of Sciences (DSc), academic titles “Associate professor", "professor;

– registration of documents for obtaining the badge "Excellent student of higher education";

– Creation and presentation of literature for participation in the "Best Literature" competition held in the system of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation;

– implementation of the targeted research project "Creation of a simulation laboratory for psychological training of future officers of public safety units in emergency (extreme) conditions";

– raising the H-index of the faculty of the department;

– further improvement of the effectiveness of the activities of the circle "Young teachers and psychologists", etc.

At the meeting, the teaching staff, who took a special initiative in the activities of the department in the field of educational, methodological, research and spiritual and educational work during 2023, were awarded letters of thanks and memorable gifts.
