After the Military-Technical Institute of the National Guard was reorganized into the University of Public Safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan, several new areas were added by a decree from the President of Uzbekistan in 2021 (No. 5077) to meet the requirements for maintaining public order, ensuring public safety, road traffic safety, and the passport system for the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Guard.
At present, final state examinations are being held for the first graduating cadets in the areas of “Legal Support of the Passport System,” “Tactical Command Activities of Patrol Service,” and “Tactical Command Activities of Road Patrol Service.” These examinations aim to assess the knowledge acquired by the graduating cadets over three years under the guidance of qualified professors and doctors of sciences. The main goal of the final state examinations is not only to evaluate the cadets' knowledge but also to enhance the scientific potential of the graduating youth and to provide Uzbekistan with specialists equipped with modern knowledge.
