The Uchtepa district is one of the most densely populated areas in Tashkent, with over 300,000 residents across 60 neighborhoods. The working group, composed of faculty members from the University of Public Safety and the National Guard, began its activities by thoroughly analyzing the socio-economic and criminogenic situation in the red-zone neighborhoods of the district. The group focused on the interagency coordination in preventing violations, identifying the conditions that enable crime at public sites, and investigating systemic problems in these areas. The group members categorized the violations based on different aspects and studied them. For instance, they familiarized themselves with the operations of seven neighborhoods, organized meetings with local officials, and developed an action plan for future steps. The action plan includes the assessment of the social and economic conditions in the red-zone areas, the current state of economic facilities, markets, schools, crime-prone areas, alcohol-serving establishments, individuals under administrative supervision by law enforcement, and those with a propensity for committing offenses. The group also evaluated the activities of patrol services, the causes of traffic accidents, the condition of street lighting, and the functionality of surveillance cameras. Fieldwork was conducted to identify the factors and conditions that contribute to domestic crimes in crowded areas. For instance, in collaboration with officials from the "Vatan" neighborhood, a wheelchair and food products were provided to a socially vulnerable citizen, and visits were made to elderly residents, with small gifts given to them. Additionally, traffic safety officers studied the hotspots for traffic accidents in the district. Specifically, social factors contributing to road accidents along the Tashkent Ring Road were examined. Ensuring the safety of schools is one of the top priorities for both parents and society. Creating a secure environment and improving safety systems in schools are crucial for students' health and future success. Therefore, the working group selected School No. 78 in the district for examination. During a test of the emergency call button installed at the school, the security service promptly responded, demonstrating the national focus on safeguarding student health.
