A competition "Expert in criminal law" was held at the University of Public Safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan

As we all know, in recent years, the scale of ongoing reforms in improving the system of state and public construction aimed at eliminating problems that hinder the development of the country has been expanding. In particular, raising the problem of fighting corruption to a completely new qualitative and quantitative level is the political will of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the opinion of the head of state on the need to "instill in society the vaccine of honesty" is the cornerstone of work in this direction. On December 19, at the ceremony of awarding the highest international award in the field of combating corruption, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev set 5 main goals for us.     In addition, in order to implement the priorities of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the need to vaccinate the minds and conscience of a new generation with the "honesty vaccine", on December 26, 2023 at 15:00 at the University of Public Safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a competition "EXPERT IN CRIMINAL LAW" was held. This competition is organized in order to study national and transnational crimes, their qualification by consequences, classification of crimes as a set of crimes when committed with other crimes, as well as theoretical and practical analysis of these types of crimes. Employees of the University of Public Safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, employees of the Tashkent State Law University, doctoral students and independent researchers took part in this competition. We believe that in the future such friendly events will create the ground for holding republican competitions. The competition was held according to the following plan-scenario:

During the simulation contests, participants competed in four tasks.

Task 1. "Acquaintance".

In this assignment, the teams described their knowledge and intellectual abilities in the field of criminal law at the university where they study, through poems, videos, etc.

Task 2. "Question and answer".

In this assignment, the members of the commission asked all teams 10 consecutive questions on general topics of criminal law at the same time.

Task 3. "BLITZ questions".
