On May 23 of this year, the Department of Language Learning of the University organized the Republican Olympiad in Russian and English among cadets of higher military educational institutions. This Olympiad was aimed at effective implementation in 2024 of the reforms defined by the Strategy "Uzbekistanа-2030" in the "Year of Youth and Business Support" within the framework of the State Program approved by Presidential Decree -37 of 26.02.2024.

Senior lecturer PhD R. R. Atayeva was appointed Executive Secretary of the Olympiad Commission. The purpose of the Olympiad in languages is to increase motivation to study Russian and English, develop the need and ability to practice speech activity.

The Russian Language Olympiad included 4 types of tasks in the following areas:

1)      Presentation.

2)      Expressive reading of a poem.

3)      Test.

4)      Competition of captains.

Four teams took part in the Olympiad: The Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

A limited time was set for each type of task. The responses of the teams were evaluated by a competent jury consisting of invited teachers of military universities of the Republic: Akhmeda Kh. O. (Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan), Nasirov B. T. (Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs), Rasulov D. T. (Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations). Associate Professor of the Department of Language Learning F. Z. Umarova was appointed Chairman of the Russian language jury, in English – Associate Professor N. N. Radjabov.

According to the results of the Russian Language Olympiad, the team of the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan "Patriots of the Guard" became the absolute winner in the category "Expert in the grammar of the Russian Language".

According to the results of the English Language Olympiad, the team of the Invincible- University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan won in the category "Best Team in vocabulary and grammar".

The winners of the competition were awarded certificates of honor and memorable gifts in the form of exclusive books by the Deputy head of the University , Major Zulfiqarov Sherzod Khurramovich.

Also, the members of the jury were awarded a letter of gratitude on behalf of the management of our University.
