It is known that in accordance with the relevant decision of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on Sunday, October 27, 2024, the election of deputies to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and local Councils will be held. In order to effectively ensure the implementation of the decision of the Central Election Commission dated May 24, 2024 "On organizing the training of members of election commissions", to organize election processes at a high level, to train members of election commissions, the first deputy head of the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ph.D., professor, lieutenant colonel O. K. Turgunov, a group of republican trainers (captain D. Mamarasulov, lieutenant colonel G. Ikmatullayev, lieutenant colonel O. Davletov, major H. Olimjonov, captain Sh. Akhmedov, lieutenant M. Mirzakhojayev) was attached to Fergana region. On August 19-21, 2024, this group organized an educational and practical training for 105 regional trainers at the Uzbekistan-Korea International University in Fergana. Training sessions were held in 5 auditoriums with all modern conditions. 2 model polling stations were established for the practical training specified in the training program. Training in accordance with the curriculum was opened by the first deputy head of the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan, professor, lieutenant colonel O.K.Turgunov, deputy governor of Fergana region, head of the regional staff Sh.A.Rahimov.
On the first day of the training, "Mixed election system and its features", "Main aspects of the system and operation of election commissions", "Working with the list of voters in the election", "Equipping the premises where precinct election commissions are located and organizing early voting" lecture session on the topics, on the second day, "Cooperation of the precinct election commission with other participants of the election process (media, observers, representatives of the agencies responsible for maintaining public order"), "Activities of the precinct election commission on the voting day", "Counting of votes at the polling station" and determination of results", a practical training session was held on the topic of "Activity of the precinct election commission on the voting day" together with the audience.
In these trainings, special attention was paid to explaining the activities on the voting day in a practical and demonstrative way, to repeat the staging process several times by changing the roles of the participants, to explain the procedure for counting the ballots and drawing up the report. At the end of the training and practical training, tests were accepted from the audience through the electronic platform of the Main Scientific and Methodological Center under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. According to the results of the tests, 105 listeners obtained an "excellent" result with an overall average score of 96.5 percent. In accordance with the approved schedule, it is planned to hold training sessions for the chairman, deputy chairman and secretaries of the district (city) election commission on August 23-24, 2024, and on August 26-27 for the chairman, deputy chairman and secretaries of the district election commission.
