In line with the implementation of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated November 18, 2020, No. L.R.U.-647 "On the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan," the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 29, 2021, No. P.D.-27 "On the Approval of the Concept of Public Safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Measures for its Implementation," and the Presidential Decree of January 28, 2022, No. P.D.-60 "On the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026," as well as in accordance with the Presidential Resolutions of August 4, 2018, No. RP-3898 "On the Radical Improvement of the System for Raising the Spiritual and Educational Level of Military Personnel in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and September 8, 2022, No. RP-371 "On Additional Measures to Enhance the Moral and Psychological Training and Combat Spirit of Military Personnel," the Department of Educational and Psychological Support for Service Activities at the University of Public Safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan is organizing a Republican Scientific and Practical Conference titled: "Modern Approaches to Organizing Psychological Services in Higher Military Educational Institutions and Military Units: Theory and Practice," scheduled for October 30, 2024.
The primary thematic areas for discussion at the conference include:
- Contemporary approaches to organizing psychological services for military personnel (employees) within the public safety system.
- Methods of delivering psychological assistance to military personnel (employees) within the public safety system.
- Theoretical and practical dimensions of modern approaches to providing psychological support to military personnel (employees).
- Preparing youth for military service: psychological support strategies based on international and national experiences.
- Modern approaches to organizing psychological services in both military and civilian sectors.
The conference invites participation from: academic staff, military personnel, practitioners, representatives of state and public organizations, doctoral candidates, researchers, students, and cadets.
Theses and articles for the conference are to be submitted by October 25, 2024.
Submission Guidelines for Articles: Title of the scientific article:
The thesis title should be scientifically grounded and clearly outline the research focus.
Author information: This section should include the surname, first name, and patronymic of the author(s), academic degree, position, workplace, and contact details (phone and email).
Thesis: The thesis should address the research problem, its relevance, the results obtained, and the conclusions drawn.
List of references: All references [1], [2] should be formatted as follows:
- Author surname and initials, book title, place of publication, publisher name, year of publication, pages;
- Author surname and initials, article title, journal name, year of publication, issue number, pages.
Thesis Formatting: The text must be typed in "Times New Roman" font, size 14, with 1.5 line spacing. Page margins should be set to 2 cm on all sides. The thesis length should range from 3 to 5 pages.
Authors bear full responsibility for the content of their theses, the accuracy of the information provided, and the reliability of sources cited. Materials that do not meet the specified requirements will not be included in the conference proceedings and will not be returned to the authors.
Official languages of the conference: Uzbek and Russian.
Participation in the conference is free of charge. The conference proceedings will be provided in electronic format.
