On May 31 of this year, a university championship was held for cadets under the slogan "Martial Arts is a Weapon," showcasing hand-to-hand combat techniques. Participants demonstrated special techniques based on a combat system using weapons, including knives, automatic rifles, entrenching tools, shields, and rubber batons, simulating attack and defense methods close to real scenarios. As a result of the competition, the 9th platoon team took third place, the 2nd platoon team secured second place, and the 11th platoon team claimed first place. Additionally, the highest award of the competition was given to the 2nd cadet battalion team, and the winners and runners-up received a trophy.
