To date, preventing cybercrime, intensifying advocacy work in this area, as well as expanding the knowledge and understanding of military personnel in this area remain one of the urgent tasks. To this end, on March 11, as part of the “Day of Crime Prevention”, the Department for the Organization of Educational and Ideological Work of the University, in cooperation with the Cyber Security Center of the Department of Operational Search of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, held a round table with the university staff on the topic “Actual problems of cybercrime”. The round table was attended by the Deputy Head of the Cyber Security Center, Captain U. Khamroqulov, who touched upon the issues of preventing military personnel from becoming victims of cybercrime, increasing their knowledge and awareness of threats in cyberspace. During an open discussion, the military personnel were emphasized on the need to keep their personal data, bank plastic card codes and other important information secret, as well as to be careful about fake links, false calls and suspicious applications distributed through social networks. In addition, military personnel received comprehensive answers to their questions of interest.
