With the Decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 15, 2021 "On measures to further improve the system of training professional personnel in the field of public safety" No. PQ-5077, the University of Public Safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan has been operating as a department of engineering and technical support.
The Department of Engineering and Technical Support of Guarding is one of the specialist training departments at the university and has its place in the training of specialist officers.
Since the establishment of the department, in the past period, diligent work has been carried out to improve the educational process, the educational and material base. In particular, in the performance of the responsible and honorable tasks of training highly qualified specialists for the systems of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Colonel Alexander Vasilievich Smekhov, Lieutenant Colonel Igor Trafimovich Lee, Colonel Rejaboyev Sarvar Djurayevich, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Colonel Yakubov Ulug'bek Adhamovich, Technical Doctor of philosophy, associate professor, colonel Achilov Farkhod Bagodirovich worked effectively as the head of the department.
