The Department of "engineering and technical support of the guard" is one of the leading departments of the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which produces personnel and “determine" in accordance with the requirements of state educational standards and the command-engineering activities for the use of guard systems are responsible for the qualitative training of highly qualified officer personnel for the field of guard activities in the field of Master's specialty” undergraduate education direction, “command-engineering activities for the provision of Guard activities”.

      On October 15, 1990, since the establishment of the Tashkent Higher Military-Technical Educational Institution of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the "Technical-Engineering Support" department has been operating under the name of the "Security-Technical-Engineering Support" department.

     PF of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 10, 2017 "On measures to fundamentally increase the efficiency of the internal affairs bodies, to strengthen their responsibility in ensuring public order, the reliable protection of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of citizens" - With Decree No. 5005 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Department of Defense Technical Engineering Support Department, Military Technical Institute of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with the relevant Decree dated August 4, 2017 worked as a department of supply.

     With the Decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 15, 2021 "On measures to further improve the system of training professional personnel in the field of public safety" No. PQ-5077, the University of Public Safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan has been operating as a department of engineering and technical support.

       The Department of Engineering and Technical Support of Guarding is one of the specialist training departments at the university and has its place in the training of specialist officers.

      Since the establishment of the department, in the past period, diligent work has been carried out to improve the educational process, the educational and material base. In particular, in the performance of the responsible and honorable tasks of training highly qualified specialists for the systems of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Colonel Alexander Vasilievich Smekhov, Lieutenant Colonel Igor Trafimovich Lee, Colonel Rejaboyev Sarvar Djurayevich, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Colonel Yakubov Ulug'bek Adhamovich, Technical Doctor of philosophy, associate professor, colonel Achilov Farkhod Bagodirovich worked effectively as the head of the department.

PURPOSE OF THE DEPARTMENT

      The Department of Engineering and Technical Support of Security of the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan is one of the leading departments of the University that produces personnel. command-engineering activity", "61031500 - Command-tactical activity of security units", "5710300 - Command-engineering on the organization and use of detection and guarding electronic systems" bachelor's degree "60310100 - Economics (by industries and sectors)", "60420100 - Jurisprudence (by types of activity)", "60310900 - Psychology (by types of activity)" develops the main educational programs of higher education for students in the field of science and for the master's specialty "71030301 - Command-engineering activities of the provision of security activities", the documents of this bachelor's and master's education creates an educational methodological complex, teaches specialized subjects, and is responsible for the quality training of masters, trainees and students of these educational fields.

The Department of Engineering and Technical Support of Security of the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan carries out its activities in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, normative legal documents, relevant orders of the National Guard Commander, decisions of the University Council and the requirements of this Regulation. Including:

• implementation of its activities based on the annual plan;
• program, methodical materials, textbooks, course of lectures, training manuals and other educational materials prepared by related departments or sent for analysis from other institutions programs and other methodical materials, the results of scientific research of the department's POT and the researchers attached to them, scientific developments from other institutions, as well as discussing other issues related to the department's activity;
• to regularly enrich the science-related programs and methodological materials taught in the departments based on scientific and technical achievements, to regularly introduce changes in the legislation, to organize all kinds of training sessions at a high level in accordance with the state educational standards;
• ensuring the fulfillment of the audience's educational load in the personal work plan of the professors-teachers of the department;
• Participating in the "teacher-disciple" system, carrying out scientific, spiritual-educational, educational work with cadets (students);
• formation of cadets (students) high professional training, thinking, initiative, creativity and work ability in their field of study (specialty), respect for the law, humaneness, protection of the rights, freedoms and legal interests of citizens, education in the spirit of selfless and sincere service to the people of the independent Republic of Uzbekistan;

• subject plan, curriculum for the subjects taught in the department and organizing the development of other educational and methodical documents and approving them within the specified time and in the established order;
• distribution of the study load among the members of the department and its timely and high-quality performance;
• organization of training sessions and control of their scientific, methodical and educational level, specialization-oriented knowledge and skills;
• preparing the department's work plan and report, personal work plans of the department's employees and professors, other documents related to the department's activities and submitting them to the head of the University for approval;
• creation of necessary conditions for carrying out educational, scientific-methodical, educational and scientific-research work in the department;
• organization and management of educational-methodical, scientific-research and educational work;
• planning the activities of the department and ensuring the timely preparation of the report documents of the completed works;
• compliance with the internal order in the area, object, rooms and classes attached to the department, their correct use, as well as control of the fulfillment of fire safety requirements;
